Supervising Producer
Since late 2007, Adam Vadnais has been a Supervising Producer with Hollywood-based Trailer Park, the industry’s leading entertainment marketing agency. There, he leads multiple inter-departmental production teams on various interactive Blu-ray, ROM and DVD projects. His duties also include supervising development, design, production, QA, and delivery of interactive Blu-ray, ROM and DVD projects for major Hollywood studios, developing new interactive and web-enabled features for use on BD-Java platforms, building new accounts and developing relationships with new clients. In that post, he also recruits top-level motion graphics artists, 3D animators, production artists and administrative staff, trains multiple departments on creative possibilities of new Blu-ray technology, and develops new production techniques for new technologies.
From 2005-07, Adam was a Producer in the DVD & Blu-Ray division of Trailer Park. As such, he supervised development, design, production, QA, and delivery of interactive Blu-ray, ROM and DVD projects for major Hollywood studios, oversaw production of regionalization of international releases, recruited top-level motion graphics artists, as well as 3D animators, trained staff on creative possibilities of new Blu-Ray technology, and developed new production techniques for new technologies.
Earlier, Adam was an Instructor with San Francisco State University, on the course entitled “Introduction to Video Production.” The focus of the course was Scripting, production, & post-production in both studio and field environments. He also taught the course “Social Aspects of the Electronic Media”Focus: Application of Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology) to Media Studies.
From 2001-2003, Adam was a Project Manager with Warner Bros. Technical Services, Los Angeles, CA. There, he functioned as an employee of top client (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment,) developed/wrote/produced Disc Content (behind-the-scenes documentaries, interviews) and designed interactive content. He also managed production of DVD Interactive Content (Animated/Still) for domestic and international releases, coordinated production for six international markets, and managed assets for DVD programming (film masters, audio, ROM material.)
Earlier, he was a Designer/Programmer for Warner Bros. Technical Services, Los Angeles, CA, and designed, QC, edited, formatted, and programed DVD Interactive Content for major studios. Adam holds a Masters Degree from SFCU in Children & Media, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from UCSD.
