Matt Kennedy co-founded 1K|Studios in 1997. It was one of the first companies created specifically to provide services to the emerging DVD industry. Since then, 1K has grown from humble beginnings as a two-person start-up into one of the most influential Blu-ray production services companies in Hollywood. Today, 1K’s team of 90 producers, designers, writers, programmers, encoders and editors work for a list of elite Studio clients to bring about the Blu-ray revolution in all of it’s forms. 1K helps it’s clients create Blu-ray titles by providing a variety of creative and technical services. The company has been involved on various levels in recent projects such as: Ironman, The Dark Knight, James Bond Blu-ray Collection, Transformers, The Hulk, Heroes Season 1, Sopranos Season 6, Chronicles of Narnia, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and many more.
