Chief Technology Officer, North America

Adam began his professional career as a management information systems consultant for Andersen Consulting and continued in that field after achieving his MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.

He entered the entertainment industry as an internal consultant within the Technical Operations Division of Warner Bros. While at TechOps, he was tapped to work with the Home Video division to pioneer content preparation for the new DVD format. He successfully steered the fledgling facility (GDMX) through hardware and software alpha and beta testing, hiring of personnel for the all-new jobs of MPEG-2 compression, DVD authoring and QC, and establishing processes and procedures for asset management and preparation for DVD production.

In 1997, Adam opened one of the first independent DVD authoring facilities, Advanced Media Post, in the world, growing it to $1.2M in annual sales within four years. With clients such as Lionsgate Entertainment, Full Moon Pictures, Planet Pictures, and NuTech Digital, he expanded AMP to become a full service boutique post production facility, posting many television episodes and feature films in addition to the DVD authoring core business.

In 2008, Adam sold AMP and joined Testronic Laboratories in the newly established position of Chief Technical Officer, North America. Since joining the TL team, Adam has been involved with updating and streamlining the DVD player matrix, testing process improvement for both DVD and Blu-ray, developing test plans and procedures for Digital Copy, and developing comprehensive BD-Live test plans and procedures for a variety of Studio clients.
